Welcome to our mobile applications. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Appovatia, the provider of the applications including but not limited to AI Therapist and Polly (collectively referred to as the "Apps" or "Service").

By using, downloading, or accessing our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Apps.

1. Eligibility and Access

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Apps. By using the Apps, you affirm that:

You are at least 13 years of age.
If under 18, you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

You agree not to:

Use the Apps for any unlawful purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Apps or related systems.
Distribute malicious code, malware, or attempt to harm the functionality of the Apps.

2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some features require a paid subscription or one-time in-app purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play:

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged within 24 hours before renewal.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your device's store settings.
All payments are final. Refunds are issued only where legally required by the platform (Apple/Google).
We are not responsible for billing disputes handled by third-party platforms.

3. App Content and Use

All content in the Apps is for informational, educational, entertainment, and personal wellness purposes only. This includes but is not limited to:

Language learning materials and vocabulary
Pronunciation analysis and audio recordings
Affirmations and motivational content
AI-driven conversations and feedback

We do not:

Offer medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
Guarantee specific results (e.g., fluency in a language or specific mental health outcomes).

Use of the Apps should not replace professional guidance, whether it be medical advice or professional language tutoring.

4. User-Generated Content

If you upload, speak, or create content (e.g., voice recordings for pronunciation, personal affirmations, text inputs):

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, process, and analyze the content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality (e.g., analyzing your speech for pronunciation accuracy).
You confirm you own or have rights to all content you share.
You agree not to post or record anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes on others' rights.

5. Data and Privacy

We value your privacy. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may collect:

Usage and interaction data
Voice and text inputs (for processing purposes)
Device type and OS
In-app behavior
Purchase data

We use this data to improve the Apps, personalize experiences, and monitor service stability. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Apps, their content, source code, design, and trademarks belong to Appovatia or its licensors. You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
Reverse engineer any portion of the Apps.
Use our brand assets without permission.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Apps without notice if you:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in harmful, fraudulent, or illegal behavior.

You may uninstall and stop using the Apps at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Apps are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

That the Apps will be uninterrupted or error-free.
That results will meet your expectations (e.g., learning speed or mood improvement).
That the Apps will function on all devices or operating system versions.

You assume full responsibility for your use of the Apps.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appovatia shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages.
Loss of data, revenue, or business.
Any issue arising from third-party platforms (e.g., store billing errors).

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us within the last 12 months.

10. Updates and Modifications

We may:

Modify or remove App features at any time.
Release updates and bug fixes.
Change these Terms at any time.

Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Apps means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, unless overridden by mandatory local laws.
